Matt is very passionate about all things Horticulture and Landscape Design, beginning working in the industry in 2008, after completing high school. Matt honed his skills while working for Adelaide Hills based Landscape Designer Mark Barnett Gardens. Siting new challenges, Matt embarked on his own journey in 2016 and opened his own landscape design and construction business, Matt Lenzi Landscapes.
Matt has always been keen on broadening his knowledge within the industry, completing a Certificate III in Landscape Horticulture, followed by further studies including a Diploma of Horticulture and more recently a Diploma of Landscape Design.
Matt's designs are soft, timeless, practical, functional and diverse. His passion for plants plays a strong role in all of his garden designs, often making the planting at the forefront of his designs. He loves to incorporate local and sustainable materials in his designs and appreciates the art of working with natural stone, to create various garden features.
Matt loves problem solving and using his design skills to turn unused and undesirable areas into beautiful spaces, that his clients can grow into and enjoy for years to come.
Since opening Matt Lenzi Landscapes, Matt has worked on various size projects at numerous locations through South Australia, most predominantly working on private residential homes in the Adelaide Hills, Adelaide City and surrounding suburbs.
